After the incredible success of our trip to Kenya last summer (which you can relive through the photos shared above), we are thrilled to announce a return visit this June! The meaningful connections we made combined with the impactful learning experienced by last year's participants, have made it clear that a return trip is in order!

At the heart of our visit is the spirit of Ubuntu, a Nguni Bantu term meaning "humanity" or "I am because we are." It speaks to the importance of community, shared respect, and mutual support—values that were central to last year’s trip and will continue to guide us as we return.

The International Guided Experience featuring the deep work of BPL Kenya will once again bring together educators from around the world who are dedicated to transforming education for marginalized communities. This summit is an opportunity to reconnect, learn, and celebrate the power of education to foster change.

We’ll deepen our relationships with the remarkable young leaders from the Kuna Nuru Leadership Academy, while supporting the development of BPL Kenya staff and communities. This trip is about building lasting connections, sharing knowledge, and reshaping narratives about leadership and achievement.

Building on the success of last summer's trip, we are excited to embark on another transformative journey to Kenya in the summer of 2025. This visit will deepen partnerships and learning experiences, fostering new opportunities to connect, grow and collaborate.
