Ubuntu is a Nguni Bantu term meaning humanity. Often translated as I am because we are - Ubuntu is a pervasive spirit of caring and community, harmony and hospitality, respect and responsiveness.

In that same spirit, we are excited to celebrate a coming together of international educators through this Leaving to Learn summit hosted by Kenya Big Picture Learning, July 7-14.

This summit -among other things - is designed to cultivate deep relationships, facilitated by a group of incredible young Kenyans who are part of the KBP Leadership Academy. This bringing together of peoples will foster learning, inspiration, celebration and resilience. Learning together, forming cross-cultural connections and building community make us all better humans.
